Pleasant island with good beaches and a lot of wildlife. Claims to be the only backpackers on the beach in Australia. Rooms Rooms are in a good condition, as renovated in early 2004. Restaurant There is no restaurant on the premises. General The resort has on-site dive shop. Learn to dive on Magnetic Island, one of the best value places in Australia. Go koala spotting on a bush walk, sea kayak around the island or horse ride bare back on the beach. Excellent value for money. All the bedrooms have a private en suite bathroom.
